Hey all so i have been really happy with the s3 so far, the power is amazing ( i have never owned a turbo car) and is similar yet so different to my R32's
so just going to show what is planned and the progress of what gets done

First thing done after owning the car for about 48 hours was a GIAC Remap
at first i didn't notice all that much until i really put my foot down and heard the turbo spool in a slightly louder whistle and the kick from behind which followed

Issues i have had with the car is when i seem to launch to hard or lift the clutch to quickly it just revs out and doesn't grab
the second problem is for some reason (only happened twice) the rear muffler falls off the exhaust piping, but is a very easy fix when the car has cooled down

Mods
Currently looking for a high pressure fuel pump and will change my K&N panel filter for a full cold air intake when i know which one i need to get
Hopefully get the car to stage 2+ soon and then upgrade the stereo and speakers

already bought a 3inch dump pipe and cat delete which should be going in over the next few days

You might want to check if there's an updated flash for your car, and i'd also get that exhaust checked out.. i'm pretty sure they're not meant to fall off like that :P

Catless exhaust looks mean!
Will be interesting to see how your car handles the Stage 2+ power in a manual.
I know for mine first gear seems pretty short due to the crazy surge of power.

Mine seems to handle it fine. Had my car for a year and about half that was stage 2 and half stage 2+, only had the clutch slip once.

What dump pipe and cat-delete did you buy?
(Is a dump pipe the same as a down pipe?)

Therefore, 3" down pipe is what is needed for stage 2 yes?
