its the windscreen washer hose........... i think

It's an old spray painting trick. You push wire up under the rubbers to hold the edge of the rubber away from the body so the paint gets underneath whe you spray.

Thats what I thought, you can see the rubbers raised up slightly. Nice Trick

I passed this car a few months ago on the pacific hwy, just south of Tweed Heads & thought it must have been a pesonal import because of the colour

Now all is explained

it does look very good on the road

Question....did you do the Engine Bay, Internals etc at all?

It was at my shop last week. the engine bay is still red and the paint chips easily showing red underneath. Looks good from 6 feet away.

6 i was thinking more like 16 but hey
