Skoda is gearing up for winter. The Czech firm has added a new four-wheel drive 140bhp 2.0 TDI diesel engine with DSG transmission to hatchback and estate versions of the Superb, Octavia Estate and Octavia Scout.
The new cars are available to order now, with prices starting at £21,705 for the four-wheel-drive Octavia estate, £22,935 for the Superb hatch and £24,230 for the Superb Estate.
The four-wheel-drive system sends 96 per cent of the power to the front wheels in normal conditions, with a Haldex clutch redirecting more to the rear wheels when the going gets slippery.

Interesting to note that the yeti undercuts them for price and has AWD anyway, however it is a bit on the ugly side and has a different purpose/target market.
The superb here is AWD if you get the spec'd up one isn't it?
Could be interesting to put the AWD system into an Octavia RS.
