Got my self a new Audi A4, noticed a bit of a boost leak and a sticky waste gate, so i've pulled the turbo out, and theres a bit of slop in the shaft, think i should just replace it!

can any one suggest an upgrade or any insight, i'm new to these turbo cars, i want to only pay around 800 bucks so i don't want to fork out money for an ecu unless i can do that later!

I'm thinking either a good second hand one from volkstorque, or a brand new one but have no clue where to start looking, K03? or K04? can i get a turbo off a Audi tt? are they bigger?

Nick, now I have seen this thread, I have some things to say now. You don't want to be going with a bigger turbo, as you'll need a chip to go with it.
Have the turbo looked at before condemning it. Try Adelaide Turbo Services on Marion for that.
TT turbo won't fit, you need something off the same chassis car. Google the mart number off the turbo if you have taken it off already.
Speak tomorrow.
