Hi Volksfolks,
Ok I do not know if this has been floated, so here goes has anyone got access to a full VAG Workshop manual for Polo (9N & 9N3, 2002 - 2009) including GTI or what websites can get links to?
Cheers Al
Search eBay (select search other countries) for ELSAWIN.
If not, I might be able to you help out...

Thanks j0n_GTI's and dubstar.
Question for dubstar.......
At the Total cost (including VAT): 24,99 € = AUD $35.0561 is this download good value for what you get?
What is the quality of information and detail, and are we talking about a copy of the complete VW original workshop manual then?
I will have to get paper & ink supplies for my printer too, so details like how many pages and are they in color would assist me?
Cheers Al

It is the genuine VW service manual, just an online version. Great value for money. Took me 2 hours one day to sit down and print about 25% (all I needed) of the available info to a PDF writer (so I can print multiple copies as needed).
Of course you could spend hours printing all the info; gearbox rebuilds, full panel replacement, block rebuild, blah, blah.
It can be a bit difficult to navigate first time, but all the info is there.
I would recommend spending the 4 Euros first for 1 hours access and get used to using it/make sure you like the lay out. You should also get a PDF prinetr application like Cute PDF to allow you to 'print' a PDF file copy. That way you only need to print on paper what you are actually going to use.
I have tried the Elsawin DVDs and 2 problems arise...1)they only work on some versions of MS 2) they are never entirely up to date with revised info/part numbers.....

Thanks dubstar that answers a lot of doubts for me.
I would just download at work but the last time I did that it used up so much broadband width I almost shut down the service.... so I am told.

Dubstar,
So the PDF Writer allowed you to save PDF files for 'later ron' and the files did not time out after your 24 hr subscription exspired?

Howzit. I bit the bullet and paid the $35 last night and down loaded everything I could. They are just standard PDFs - so download to your harddrive and that's it. :) I really liked that you can input your cars VIN and get pertinent details like paint code etc. I have them in my iPad for easy reference.

Dr Rudi thanks for the info, you sure they can be read after the subscription exspired? Is ERWIN that easy with their data? Cheers Al

Does this manual list part numbers, or can I get that from somewhere else? I need to find the part number for the bolts that secure the rear seatbelt fixings
