Howdy dubbers!
As my first sponsor post I wanted to come out of the gates with a pilot program of Race Fuel. I have 20L drums of 100+RON Race Fuel for an intro price of $60 per drum ($3/L).
Pickup is Shell Wilton, 15 mins south of Campbelltown just off M5.
I am finalising a Dangerous Goods Courier if you want shipping - expect around $10 per drum for shipping.
Pics to come shortly. PM or post interest please.

+1 for interest
Can you get 109 as well ?
Also interested in Methanol .

The Research Octane Number of "100+" fuels is between 105 and 110 (RON is designed for normal petrols and the method is not strictly appropriate for racing fuel.
Specifically 109 might be tough, but I can source it and Methanol quite easily. PM me the current price you pay per L too.

Got some more data, seems really good stuff:-
"a high end fuel of 100 Octane, + (plus) High Anti Knock, Lubricity and Anti Corrosive components built in"
Also found out it was tested under ASTM D2699 to be 100.2 RON and 89.0 MON.
The fuel conforms to criteria for commercially available pump fuel, it is a Street Legal unleaded high performance fuel on which excise is paid. A more efficient replacement to leaded AvGas or similar, for high performance and motorsports use. Taken from an email:-
"Proven laboratory testing (TSS Labs & Deakin Uni) conforms to:
FIA Article 252.9.1 of Appendix J and directly related CAMS Schedule G (Section 6 of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport, Part 2. Commercial Fuel, Pump Fuel and Part 3.2 Unleaded Racing Fuel) and the Australian Fuel Standards Determination made under Section 21 of the Fuel Quality Standards Act (2000 and as amended)."

Given my proximity to MDTC and Wakefield (and formerly Oran Park - grrrrr R.I.P) for Sydneysiders heading south, and also for Southern Sydney and Canberra heading north, I'd imagine I could fill a market niche. Clearly e85 is coming, you just need a tune.
Admittedly diesel is still my key product, but i would like to accomodate all corners of the market. Trouble is dedicating a bowser pump and section a tank, but luckily i have large tanks. Worth a thought.

I have it on very good authority that this appears to be a better controlled 98 fuel. I am going to trial it in my Bora this weekend on as near-to-empty tank as I can get and post back some Bum Dyno reports.
For Fusions upcoming Dyno Day does anyone want some?

What appears to be a better controlled 98?.

hey Jmac - and thanks for spotting the fuel.
i am still trying to source cheap dangerous good shipping. worst has been TNT who ask for a $70 p/wk minimum charge and also slap on a $50 premium for each DG shipment on top of cost.
Assuming this is normal, is a 20L drum at approx $60 plus another $60 still palatable?
It makes the fuel $6/L delivered. I'll need to keep it to around $4.50L delivered is my bet - but keen on your thoughts?

Try Toll Express. Quite a few businesses use them, however because the fuel is coming from a rural area the freight will be elevated because its not in Melb or Syd.

Bear in mind I am perfectly situated for a pick up whilst doing a Nasho or Kangaroo Valley run. Or even a spirited mt Keira run. Plus all south-bound cruises will blow by my servo. Might as well call in and pick up a drum? Or even whack it right in there :)

Have just taken a fresh delivery of 20L drums of race fuel (100.2RON) and now have access to e85 drums (price tbc).
To ensure my order is the right size, please PM me with your preferred fuel and order size. Currently still only pick-up as DG shipping is still too costly.
Discounts available for VWW'ers.
