My friends little boy has one of those pedal power ones - BEST FUN EVER! (if you don't mind skun knees and elbows...)
Not sure where she got it though sorry - I'll check next time i see her.
That's cool as ****! I know if i bought one i'd use it twice then it'd sit there for a year or two though.

Here's an absolutely awesome link from NS:
Got Dorrring. - Hardtuned.net (http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=310389&hl=dori&st=0&fcat=)
It's just tryiong to find the 20" slider (there are some on Ebay, but trying to buy local first and not have to ship from Geelong to Newcastle)...otherwise I'll get my wheels on first and start a custom project. They give you the buiold plans etc in that thread and everything.
There is even one with adjustable camber//toe/caster...Ludicrous!

Prob the best video yet ^^
Why are they for sale down here specifically? And where at?
If you don't have any luck I could grab one and strip it down to see how small it could be packaged.
It'd be cool to build one up really fresh, like the hipsters and their fixies.

Yeah one of our mates is a bigger lad (sweet Pom, 100kg+) so he's going custom, bearings on the rear for more speed etc...
Here is my link:
HUFFY SLIDER drift bike vl turbo silvia skyline s15 s14 - eBay Kids Bikes, Bikes, Cycling, Sport. (end time 27-Jul-10 17:27:35 AEST) (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HUFFY-SLIDER-drift-bike-vl-turbo-silvia-skyline-s15-s14-/260638252478?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Sport_Cycling_Bikes&hash=item3caf401dbe)
I'm happy to run with that guy, the Pommy emailed huffy to see the status on them because it's a "seasonal" thing with Kmart.,.. will wait for that email. If not i'll pounce on that link :)
Ha oh rad.
Rear axle would be awesome, e-brake entries haha.
Good luck with it! Hope the 'build' goes real well! :)

Ill pop some pics up later.
I may own one or two of these...
The biggest problem i have found is breaking rear beams and replacing wheels.
The importer of them will sell you stuff direct if you know the right guy. PM me I have his details and know the fmaily well.

wow a mate and i stumbled across the fun to be had on these things a few years ago.. sooo much fun.
and target have them for sale at the moment at their toy sale for $79 i think. dont confuse it with the ones with rollerblade wheels on the back though.
heres a video we made in 06.. spin it up!! (poor quality)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy_z2OgAam8
this was the video i stumbled across that inspired us..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vByOV2-O5Mc
p.s drill the rear wheels and fill with space invader..
Would be good fun but completely pointless.
Exactly. I would lose interest so fast!
They look kinda awkward too. I think i have some lowrider bike parts lying around that could work to strangely enough make one more ergonomic.

Kmart sell replacement wheels for like $10 each (apparently). And yes things will p[robably break...but for "cheap" good fun and some customising who cares....will PM

I've got a Kart seat at the workshop i'd probably put on it. But that might make it a bit less manuverable..
That is of course, if i got one..
I've bought one but my left wheel split in two when my mate was riding it in my garage. I'm on the hunt for some Green Machine wheels.

Picked up the slider today. It's mostly built save for some fine tuning. Will try and gets pics tomorrow in the daylight. Will probably have it's first outing on Saturday night.

Hope you ride in a more appropriate environment than the idiots in your "Big Wheel - Mad Dog Cycles" video. Yanks who spent 1/2 of the time across double lines on the wrong side of an open road - the lead idiot goes very close to getting wiped out by the dual cab at 30 secs in.

Haha Adrian.
One of my mates is bigger so we are customising his, longer swingarm, little bit wider....pretty sure he siad it's getting roller bearings pressed on, looking for go-kart wheels/tyres and poly pipe. Can hit 70-80kmh apparently.
Poster above ^^ plan on riding safely :)
