Very nice, especially the red one.

Dont fancy your chances of finding one too easy tho, theres only 2 for sale on carsales.com.au and theyre both 4cyl autos.

Imagine a vento vr6, would be nice..found a few, but price range to buy them and then change it too a vr6 cost a bit. i think if i sell my SEAT, i will settle for a vento and then change it to a VR6 with a golf mk3 front..i like these fronts on a vento. look stylish..

there are heaps more pics on www.425dubs.com.

Im guessing the ventos are heavier then golfs though. Would need to trick out a VR6 motor to keep that same fun feeling?

im sure with a nice exhaust and intake you probably wouldnt notice the weight difference.

There was a Vento VR6 for sale down the Gold Coast a year or so ago. It was a private import from South Africa. I was pretty interested to buy it for a family car but it didn't have air bags.

The green one you posted up above is one of my favorite Ventos. The owner is from South Africa and was featured in Eurotuner several months back.

Also, I just read this morning that he is putting the Vento back to stock and is putting it up for sale.....

Was that the same "Dragon Green" Jetta that had Audi Fat Fives on it too? I remember seeing a similar shot but with the Audi wheels on vortex before...

How hard would it be to transplant a VR6 into a Vento?

peedman
25-04-2007, 03:25 PM
As hard as putting a vr6 in a gl you'd think.

Vr6_Dog

apparently the engine bay is slightly smaller in the vento's and gl's to VR someone on vortex pointed out. seems strange though. You would think they would be the same.

What a load of bollocks. Its the same size in all those cars. Just some more Vortex misinfo from someone who has no idea.

Thats why i like a VW, you change parts from one models to another and vice versa. I think there was a thread posted somewhere before on which parts fit were.

VW all the way!!
