Picks of the Single Cab undergoing cold weather testing in Sweden. 2 dual cabs as support vehicles can be seen in the background.

Judging by the poor fitment of the plastic wheel arches, i would say (contrary to what websites are saying) this is the very limited camo that is being used on the vehicles, especially seeing as the dual cabs have pressed metal flares it looks like the single cab will only get flush guards....

Anyone know of any plans for a space cab variant?

Benefits of which could be a longer styleside tray and a bit more secure storage within the cab.

Our info is that both Turbo Diesel varients will be coming to Australia, the variable vane and Twin. This falls inline with the global production as there are only 3 model varients available. As far as we know, the only questionmark around what is and isn't offered as standard is the 6 airbags and esc system.

Fingers crossed the single cab version comes in a higher spec model (Most single cab models miss out of all the good bits & pieces).

Can't wait to see one in the flesh in it's final form :D

According to Delivery magazine who spoke to key Amarok personnel the single cab will be big enough to not have a space cab variant.

All will be revealed within the next 48 hours ;)

The Amarok SingleCab with short cab and long load surface represents the classic “workhorse” among the pickups. In comparison with the Amarok with the four-door double cab, the SingleCab has a load surface 2.20 metres long with the same overall vehicle length, which means that two Euro pallets can be stowed one behind another, loaded transversely

Nothing much we weren't expecting... looks like it will have a sort of half space cab arrangement, there is space behind the door...
