You get them colour coded from the factory...like the silver one above.
My mate has a silver Caddy maxi painted out exactly the same ;)

Wished I'd done it with mine :(

Its a pack from VW as above plus rear bumper also colour coded ;)

The latter is a newer model. :)

But but the grey one has no ridges in its bumper, looks a lot neater, closer to a Touran front.

I believe it is the Touran front but not having access to a VW Dealer network with a Touran I can't confirm.

Are you planning something Tonz ?

That was my thinking. On Caddy2k.com - Home of the VW caddy MK3 2k & Maxi owners club forum (http://www.Caddy2K.com) (its a pommie site) they are maniacs at conversions, one of the most sought after is a Touran front end swop.

Well the 2 top pics are from the Caddy picture thread top of this forum. The grey one is from Sydney.

Dermot [B]WANGARA VOLKSWAGON[B] can yu explain this please.
When we can pull everything together I like thi 'touran' front end color oded with black grills nd foggys.
Up at the Caddy Picture thread have a gander at thread at #32 There you ill see before and after shots of a frony end change.

So what is available in Australia, most that Ive seen have the ribbed bumper but the brochures have the smooth bumper. Caddy pic thread #45

On an added note because of where we live and the big chickens read emus and big rabbits read roos Id like to get hold of this. http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac1/swampy5607/nudgebar.jpg Its from UK but any ideas locally

Yay, my Caddy is getting some exposure ;) - Mine is the colour coded one btw :P

Not really sure of the visual differences between my one (MY09) & the white one pictured above... But I do know that the MY07 (Original releases) have a temperature gauge in the manuals as well as blue back lighting for the dash cluster. Both are minor features, but they are things I would prefer to have.

So I'm guessing different front bars etc could also have made the cut :)

Mind you, they also dropped the price when they dropped out some of that gear.

Just a bit of a pain in the butt for people like me that want all those little things :(

Check this out. Its in a Touran LHD European one. http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac1/swampy5607/glovebox.jpg

Its also an earlier model as per the dash air vents

I now beleive that the 'ribbed bumper is on both Caddys & Caddy Lifes (both sizes) the 'smoothed' bumper is from the Comfortline. It is also from this bloody Touran. The poms want these like crazy.

Mods delete this if not kosher being put up here. http://caddy2k.com
Blows ya mind man and fart Iam not a young man but some of these are just beautiful

You on a shoe string budget?? ... look no further.. http://www.mtxaudio.eu/spip.php?article1287

the smooth bumpers come standard on the Maxi Life's

When my caddy gets involved in an accident i might go find prices... but having an unpainted bumper is useful for pushing things out of the way

+1

Some covered storage always goes down well... Even if it was only large enough to fit keys & a few other things.
