Agree on the Tig picture thread....much needed, however, not the best pic/s to start the thread. I hate everything from ABT....EVERYTHING! That is the ugliest Tiguan ever.

Man that Tig with the RS4s and dropped stance looks good. I'm glad I'm going that route as well.

We get Baby Blue instead.

If only we got a nice dark blue, i have seen some from norway that are navy blue, it looks ace.

It would be maybe worthwhile to ask at the time of ordering. It is common in EU that you can custom order colour incl. interior.

Only blue in Australia until now has been the Catalina Metallic Blue.

Biscay Blue (aka the R series blue) is coming though... I don't believe the Catalina Blue ones can be ordered any more.

Thanks for the post, its like I am getting a preview of my order 3 months early except with a manual instaid of auto, the light interior works well with the dark paint. Did you option tinted windows or is that just the factory glass?

Great combo!
Great colours!

If the lighter leather was more cornflower colour I would have done the same.
I think the lighter leather looks amazing with the dark exterior!

Unfortunately for me - with a dog - I didn't think it would be manageable.
Great colour - great specs mate!

The light interior looks fantastic I think, however it does mean we need to keep on top of keeping it clean, but its worth it. We did option the tinted windows, it is the darkest legal tint apparently, although i'm sure i've seen windows with much darker tint. I waited four months for this car, and I have to say i'm not dissapointed in the slightest. Well worth the wait. It makes you want to drive, even if you've got nowhere to go!

There is definitely a distinct lack of colour choices with the Tig :( I also would have DEFINITELY gone with a charcoal grey/gun metal if it was available. HOPE YOU ARE LISTENING VWA!!! :brutal:

Thanks Dave,
Foggies were factory mate :) I'm using the Mint Waterless Wash and very happy with it, gives a great gloss :)

P.S. Standard fee still applies for a wash

On the upside, you will be able to tell the difference more easily when you do the upgrades if you have to drive it stock for a month :)

Thanks Cubes, I will give it a go.
Clip, I got the 18" wheels and I reckon It is going to look brilliant with the dark tint, definetely worth the wait.

whoa, that's my car! I'd like to keep the VW grill emblem, but I didn't think I liked the dark headlights, but that looks the duck's guts! (now where did I see those for sale again?). What's most interesting is I was thinking of painting my lower front skirt white too and getting rid of the black. Has the effect of increasing the aggressive front stance and lowering the body height. Might just do the whole lot after seeing this!

Off to Super Expensive on Sat for a couple of cans of white plastic paint!

get it sprayed properly, or it wont come out.. spend the money and have the result or to the dodge and it'll look the dodge!

Good to see a silver Tig instaid of all those blacke ones;), like Pullstarter time for the H&Rs to set off those wheels but then again the wheels are the only indication of the goodness lying beneath the bonnet the dropped stance would verify this.

Cherry red is not my favourite colour and the roofracks are standard on all tig's.

VW Ups the Luxury Ante with Special Edition Tiguan Track & Avenue
that's the worst looking mish mash of colours and options you could possibly choose :icon_crazy:

It must only be for the US market surely. That coloured interior with the existing black trim looks like a bad photshop effort. And why in anyone's name you'd put low profile 19" wheels and tyres with off road track front end is anyone's guess!

I hope they never bring it out here.

It's obviously VW's attempt to use up spare parts in order to reduce stock loss's when they start production of the new model Tig next year.

Same thing happened with the Mk5 (Edition 30, Pirelli etc)

It's the ducks nuts, it really is. Awesome colour, and yes, the sat nav is worth the money. Get it factory installed though, so you get the antenna mounted into the Aerial :D

I am going aftermarket for a stereo/satnav so i don't have to fork out another 3k to the dealer.

Hi All,
Come on people, stretch your risk profile a bit and send some action/offroad pictures! Or was VW right when they said that they envisage that only 5% of buyers would take these cars offroad?

At the risk of being accused of cross-posting, a few of my favourites.
