What do you call / have you named your car ?

Does anyone else name their cars?
I get very attached to all my cars (among other things) and they all have a first name.

I'll get the ball rolling:

VR6 - Vish
MK1 76 GTI - Helga

Does anyone else do this, or am i just mad?

I name all my cars.

My first car was called "Dennis", the next one "Brad" (they just seemed to suit the two cars at the time).

Then I had a Mk6 Fiesta Zetec which was just aptly named "The Fez", I named the RS Clio "Jean Claude" and the R I am not so sure yet, Although "Ava" or "Gretchen" have come to mind. I wouldn't mind calling her Coco Chanel (due to her being black and white), as have named the FG XR6T work ute "Wayne Cooper" (Becasue it is Australian and oh so wanky).

My Partner has a 350z Named "Zorro" and before that a Honda Prelude VTiR called "Stella".

Its not that I refer to them by their names ever once I name them, however "Jean Claude" really stuck with the Clio as did "The Fez".

My Pulsar is called Gary. He got this name for 2 reasons. Remember the Nicorette ads where there was a cheerleading team singing "No Gary no!", we modified that and sang "Go Gary go!" whenever faced with a steep hill.

Indeed, I've been trying to teach my wife how to correctly pronounce Volks Wagen: Follks Varrgen. She struggles with that a bit, but it's better than Vowks Waggin as most English-speaking people pronounce it.

Incidentally, the letters VW in German are pronounced Fau Vet.

Yeah, not too sure how to pronounce it to be honest.
Not sure whether to just say it the Aussie/English way, or the proper way.
