How do the front wheels handle the extra power and torque? Is there any torque steer, or does the ESP etc handle all that?

Actually its super smooth & thats the secret! - you just learn throttle application & use the mid range torque! Sometimes I get a bit carried away then I remember how much tyres cost. Torque steer doesnt seem to affect the MK5 too bad.

The body fit and gaps look excellent on that kit too Guy. Looks awesome, well done! :)
Guy_H
05-04-2007, 10:30 AM
Thanks Andrew - the fit & finish is really excellent quality!
Just got pics of the next one installed in Sydney - red car as well - 18" silver rims. - Quad tailpipes, and no black bonnet strip! - I think the all red bonnet still looks good!

Fantastic Effort Guy! Thats one hot mama.
By the way what brakes are you running there? The disks arn't factory fit are they?
Guy_H
05-04-2007, 11:33 AM
Thanks Shaun,
We run Alcon / Stasis monoblocks with a 14.5" rotor (370mm) - they are awesome - they "just" squeek under an 18" rim, 19"s give plenty of clearance

Sweet - I drove the dealer principal from Austral's GTI which had been "boosted" and axle tramp was the big issue but his suspension was (at least then) standard.
Looks like you've got that well sorted though, what have you done to the suspension.
Looks good I do like the Black bonnet wedge.
I'll keep an eye out for you.
:)

That red mkV is great. Prefer the std bonnet tbh but the kit is awesome. Isn't there a proper wide arch kit for the polo? Saw it awhile back and makes the car look the mental.
Guy_H
12-04-2007, 04:49 PM
Dave, nothing like that for the Polo unfortunately - I'd like it to match the Golf :)
MK3VR6 - that one is a gent called Maurice - a long time customer of Muller & Muller.
Evorobin - I am in two minds on the bonnet - Mine needed repainting anyway, and the black is a bit of a showstopper! - probably would have left it red if it wasn't damaged as a personal preference!

Could lose those stickers, but otherwise that looks hot.
Love the bonnet... Carbon?
Goes against my anti-bling position, but I love the look of it anyway!!!!
awesome car and very well looked after from what i have seen first hand and heard.
Good luck with the sale Guy. Someone is going to be very lucky...
it was dissapointing you couldnt make the VW dyno day but James did a great job representing APR... i tired to get the trial tune while i was there but unfortunately the cable wasnt playing nice for us.. i am saving some pennies and will be in shortly to get stage one but stage two will follow very quickly fingers crossed...
also cant wait to see what you do with the MKVI.. some of the turbo kits and power being quoted around the place is very impressive and am sure will be up there...

Yeah I gave up tens of thousands ago.
It's amazing how quick it goes. 5 grand here, 8 grand there, another 4 grand there..
When you see a small addition, like a grand or two, it's almost like going out to the shops to buy a newspaper in comparison.
