Golf R32/Audi TT control arm bushes

well the time has come to do some more maint on my car.
It seems the front end has gotten a bit wayward. It feels really strange. So im gonna need to get under there and freshen a few things up.

I know i have a suspect tierod end. But i think its more getting time to replace the rear control arm bushes.
Ive heard that R32/TT ones are a better option than the nolathane ones as they last longer and dont make noise.
When i replace anything on my car i usually try and use it as an opportunity to upgrade.

My question is. Is there anywhere locally that could supply these other than a dealer? or should i be looking to import them?

Has anyone else done this upgrade? Looking to get onto it soon cos i really dont feel comfortable driving the car hard at the minute.

i have nolathane in my car and can confirm that they are very noisy. however they will last at least as long as the TT ones and they cost me less

how much did the nolathane ones set u back?

and also. after replacing them did u notice much of a difference? Its hard to explain the situation i have with my car at the minute. Its kinda like as i turn into a corner harder, instead of biting, the front end gets a bit sloppy and the steering feels light. Whereas it used to bite hard after the innitial turn in and the steering would get heavier!
best way i can describe the feeling is wayward. like the wheels are working in unison

i never knew how my vr6 should steer, because when i bought it the bushes were shagged. I'll find out the price i paid for them for you, but from memory it was about 80-100 the lot.... i could be wrong.

thanks mate. if it can save me some runnin around i dont mind putting the nolathane ones in. My car is already full of bumps and squeaks and rattles due to the firm suspension

My suspension has gone to **** too lately. I know nothing about suspension so I'll get a specialist shop to go over with a fine toothed comb, then start ordering juicy bits for it :D

EDIT: By "gone to ****" I mean wheel alignment done last week has already faded away, car pulls to the left strongly, steering is vague and indirect and nothing seems sure footed... at least theres no torque steer !
