Mine escaped as its in the shop. My girlfriends laser wasnt so lucky, and apart from our bed getting covered in shattered glass and hailstones, my shed full of mk1 parts getting soaked, our garden also looks like someone cut loose with an AK47:eek:

Crazy weather!!

Yes! Saw many smashed up cars today. Our MK6 GTI had a few dents around the front, but luckily it was in a car port, nothing major.

Indeed, I was stuck in peak hour(s) for 2 hours as it happened. Somehow managed to avoid all the hail and came out unscathed, don’t know how when there was so much damage near where I work (Ossie Park)..

Although I almost drowned a few times in the puddles/flooding :P

You're a lucky man! I'm at the Northern end of Herdsman Lake, nothing was spared. As for my 2 month old Golf, she's kept undercover at home

I think they're gonna be writing most things off. Already have got 2 friends who've had their cheapies written off.

My Jetta's was the audio store's workshop getting sorted. At least that's what they told me. :)

Its over forrestfield ( not far from Ivan's place ), the landowner has already told me they only got rain, no hail... so here's hoping.

Did you source a O2A starter yet, going to a few yards tomorrow morning so text me if you still need one.

I was parked in East Perth when the first lot of rain & hail came through, car is unscathed amazingly, must have been sheltered by the building or something....
Got back to work and watched the storm from the windows - had a good view too, then came home to flooded street outside my place, submerged driveway and wet carpets thoughout most of my unit, yay :/ Water level was 2-3 course up outside in the courtyard, but didn't rise up the walls inside at least just the floor. Lucky me, could have been worse!

Sorry, I'm a bit late coming in here, I was on the Kwinana Freeway when the storm hit, my usual 37 minute journey stretched out to almost two hours. My car sustained two dents, one minor one in the roof and one larger one on the passenger-side front fender. All of the overpasses on the freeway were taken up with cars parked under them on either side of the north and southbound lanes. The scariest part was on the Mount Henry Bridge, it usually takes less than a minute to travel over it, on Monday I was on there for over 20 minutes. I couldn't see anything at all over the sides of the bridge and the wind was buffeting all of the cars, it was like some giant hand was violently shaking the bridge. The hail stones that fell where I was were relatively small, M&M size I would estimate.

If it was shaking violently, I wonder if people would have thought it a better option to not be under the bridge for fear it would collapse.

My bmw got accessed today and thankfully they didnt write it off. They will try the paintless fent removing, but if that doesnt work, they will have to respray the whole thing :)

Damn, shoulda parked green lightning outside under a tree then! I need a respray!
Although if i'd done that it prolly woulda gotten crushed. We had major tree damage in the street. It was a real big mess for about a week.
Neighbours car got assessed the other day, $4k for dent removal to a 2 year old Rav4!
