Welcome back mate, I`d given you up. Welcome back to the fold.

Nope the green machine is not finished, but its has suspension, brakes and wheels now. Pushed it out of the garage yesterday and back in again.
Looks phat in the sunshine.

Put Milos engine in a car a few weeks ago too! Heart Transplant.

Dunno if you can have the Jetta mate, I really like it and might just keep it. I like the rarity of it.

Buy my Genuine GTI you nut. look here

I was going to comment on the Jetta but Golfwise is very generous and I look forward to an old skooler being saved to drive another day. Hope he doesn't mean $2K worth of parts....

You can make your comment Evorobin,I won't take any offence.
I give a bit out at times so I'll have to take a bit of flak back.
Thats what this forums all about talking to each other about the old beloved Golf :P

She's all yours for nothing el foolio, but as always there is always a catch.
I will keep some of her parts to recoup some money.
eg the gearbox although I will give you a 4 speed in its place so as you can get her running.

Glad you did it! I'm looking at inviting all Tassie forum members up to our place to stay in our tourist cottage for a weekend. (Just got to find one that's not booked!) so we may see the Jetta there????

weeeeeeeell, currently the jetta "needs attention", i spent the whole of yesterday arvo/this morning just cleaning it, as golfwise's ever lovely cats had found themselves a bit of a home in there  . it ran out of rego a week-ish ago, and needs a few bits and peices to get it running safely. depending on the date of this meet, you will surely see either the golf or jetta there (i hope).
