Hi people.
well the sun has finally come out here in the uk and its made me get off my lazy backside, I thought you guys would apreciate an up date of things with my mk2.

Things have slowed down as work has got busy and money has taken a few hits in the last two months. But here are some picks of progress so far.

rear spoiler and few bits are off being sprayed up.
am looking for a new mint dash as the glove box and silver trim are shocking?
and the seats are back in but i am still looking for mint recaros (yeah dream on)

hope everyone down under is good, take it easy..... joe.

Nice motor, Joe :)

Good to see you keeping in touch. A lot of overseas users rarely do.

Shamelessly NO,:( only cranked it round. The ordered 02 sensor never appeared in my mailbox:mad: The company is sending out another (so I dont have to pay again) hopefully with a tracking number from the US. All I have left to do is connect it and mount up the centre exhaust pipe and CAT.

Do you really have to fit a cat? over here in the uk cars up to 1992 (aprox) never had cats fitted so thats all mk2s,8,16v.

I reckon he said that as the car already has a cat fitted. You can't mess with the Australian rules like you would in the UK. ;0)

yeah makes sence, could look into a custom stainless sports cat! with full system.

mess with the rules.... :) true but the law is clamping down on us now, there are growing reports of cars/owners stopped and told their exhausts are too loud and if they are once tested, they have to change them.

many only refit there cats back when it comes to M.O.T time.
