As far as I can find, there isn't a manual or workshop book available yet. Oh and it's a GTI :D

Yeh I know, it's much easier then say ... AC/DC :D

Back OT, has anyone heard or seen anything abuut a workshop manual on these cars? Does the Golf MKV even have one released yet?

I asked Bentley if they are working on mk5 golf manual & they said no. They have produced one for the Jetta but I don't think it includes the 2.0 TDI.

Crap if after 3 years Bentley aren't even doing one for the Golf GTI, the Polo's got no chance :(

They will not do a Polo manual unless Polos are sold in the US.

Are the people in the US more special or are they more thick than the people in other parts of the world where the Polo is sold?

Bentley can only get access to the info for their manuals from VW of America, probably under some US law.[eg freedom of information] On top of this they will only produce a manual if there is suffient demand, which incidentally is not the case for the mk5 golf at this stage.

I brought the Elsa manual off ebay has everything u would want to know was about $18 to my door.
But takes up 10gig of hard drive space.
