Mk V experts:

Are there any rear piston compression tools (vw specific) that are of good quality available in aust (particularly melb)?

Thanks,

David

Both T&E Tools and ABW Tools do equipment for them.

From memory, (haven't replaced a set in a while) the pistons need to be turned clockwise as they're compressed.

Yeah, that's right. Then the 2 notches need to be left so they are horizontal when the caliper is back in place.

FJs stock a nice universal kit.

Same as this e-bay one.

I bought one off this seller and it works well. It's very versatile and can be used for the fronts too.
