what sort of rubbing noise though? plastic, metal???
jack it up and look for signs of rubbing on inner guard etc....
you got wide rims? on full lock mine rims rub on the sway bar :(
and it rubs on everything else too, lol...but as a wise man once said.
if it aint rubbing, it aint dubbing.

i just put my 17s on the mk1 and it rubs on everything! lol.
anyway, best thing to do is have a look and see if u can see where its been rubbing. i know my rims on the mk2 rub on parts of the inner guard a fair bit.
i could see where it was rubbing on the plastic so i attacked it with the heat gun and pushed it out in the parts where it was rubbing.
