what is that biggest size able to be fitted without too much hassle, and anyone have links to websites with wheel selections?

any help would be appreciated.

i think the biggest you should go for is 15's mate, least trouble and looks sweet dumped on a set of 15's.... im just dumping mine on the stock cheese cutters :P

dude also put your location up :)

depends on how much cash you have to throw around mate. my personal favourites are....The good old fashioned 'Hotwire' :D the BBS RS or RA, the 'Ronal Turbo' and A wheel made by 'Speedy Wheels' called 'Hyper Fang' (1 or 2) if your on a budget, or dont feel the need to import wheels, speedy make a pretty big selection of 15', golf fitting wheels. just go down to your local tyre/wheel joint and ask for some catalogues.

so 16's dont need too much hassle to fit? also im after a selection of deep lip 5 spoke chrom wheels. i know this is a fussy selection but i want my golf to look the way i want it.

I have 16's on my MK1 golf GLS.

I like them, but the biggest problem is tyre choice and price. I run 205/40 Falken's for now, next will most likely be a 195 /45 not sure which brand yet.

I am looking at some german steel rims 15's but very hard to get hold of.

Good luck in your research and choice.

That would be 90s Passat 6/15 with 4/100.
Hey wolfsb why don't you have some made using mk3 centres and a after market 15 inch rim :D

OK, that's a 357 601 025M
15X6 ET38 (the correct offset for Golf 1 & 2)

These are the rims I am trying to get. I nearly got a set but the guy refused to ship them even though I told him I was happy to pay the cost.
