Any of you SA guys using a independent service centre you could recommend for me ?
The Boss works in the city so a close to CBD location would be best.
Cheers

I use German Autos - they are located in Edwardstown, about 10 mins from the CBD. They are very switched on, honest and are very good at customer care. They actually take the time to explain things to you. Highly recommended.
Not any cheaper than the dealer but worth it for the service.
Note that they are not a dealership so they wont be able to handle any warranty issues.

I use German Auto @ Melrose Park - http://www.germanauto.com.au/
They either provide a loan car or drop me off to work and then drop my car off at the end of the day.
90,0000 service was pretty reasonable I thought and they did a good job installing my suspension, so I'd recommend them.
AVW are in Keswick - the dealer I bought my car from uses them and they replaced my rotors, coil pack, side mirror surround, ABS controller and passenger sun-shade as a condition of sale. Got a bit of a shock picking up my car after the ABS was replaced as the pedal sunk right to the floor and I almost drifted out into traffic. They took it back and bled the brakes several times, but it didnt firm up (although it wasnt sinking to the floor) until a few days of driving and said that they are just difficult brakes to bleed. The light under the sunshade took 2 attempts to fix before they replaced the sunshade with a filthy second hand one. Neither were huge issues, slight annoyance due to having to take my car back more than twice and getting a bit of shock when I went to brake for the 1st time - although they did apologise and took steps to rectify the issue, so in the end no biggie
AEM are right in town as well on Grote St....I have no experience with them though

Second that. Got my haldex controller fitted and general check up yesterday. They may not be able to fix warranty issues but they are certainly able to diagnose them. Andrew answered all of my annoying questions in a thoughtful and tactful manner. Very professional. The even charged me less than they had quoted! and dropped me off at home. Highly recommended.

I too endorse German Auto (formerly Volks Auto). They serviced my MK1 golf and did other various repairs for 2 or 3 years before they moved to concentrate on late models exclusively. Andrew would always remember me and take the time to explain things to me.
They're at Kegworth Rd Melrose Pk, just next to MacDonalds, opposite Castle Plaza.

I've used AVW before and was impressed with the service they provided but there is one big problem... they are no longer there... they moved out about a moth ago. Looks like German Auto is the go.

German Auto gets my vote, used them once and was pleased with the job.
