hi guys , im a bit baffled !!
Got some wheels and tyers the other day , they are 5 spoke rims that come off a b7 a4 qt ? they are 17x7.5 et 45 with 235 rubber on them
ok i put them om to check the clearence from the inside of the suspention (mine a b5 a4 quattro ) and there is only a few millimeters from the bar and the tyer ? will this be ok , im not near my car now but im sure they were 235-45-17 , will these be ok to drive or will i need more of a gap ?

cheers shane

I'd recommend you source a set of 10mm spacers. Alternatively, you could fit them and go for a creepingly slow drive over bumps etc. The rubber should absorb the abuse and let you know if you are rubbing. Of the top of my head, I'm mostly certain you will. Its all good because 10mm spacers will fill out the wheel well nicely anyhow. Your stock offset is 35 IIRC 99% sure.

Hope that helps,
Chris
