Smmmmmmmmooooooooooth, I want one...
Can't wait for my lease to expire in 12 months so I can upgrade.
Good to see the picture taken on yet another glorious day in East Brizzie.
Again, very nice.

Nice ride Guy.
I like the colour coded bumpers, but the wheels are terrible, they look like cheap import knockoffs.
However I know you will replace them with something more euro :P

Thanks for the comments Gents,
The Wheels are Enkei lightweights, spare track wheels - when the new car arrived yesterday we had to play "musical wheels" to get the stockers onto the MKV. I have my Oettinger RE 19"s to go on.
I love the QLD range of cartoon numberplates - oh & thanks it isaw who spotted the plates for us :)

Nah, no options at all. I work form home so I hardly drive at day, let alone night so xenons never been a big must have for me.
Mind you when I do, the S3 has Xenons & they are pretty good.

No worries, Glad you picked them up :) Also the new beast looks the goods already, do I dare ask whats planned performance wise?

Keep it legal Guy, keep it legal. :P
Love the rims and the plates, are you keeping that theme or are you gonna change them? (Road Runner perhaps)

Good question! When I get time we will try a few different looks with the wheels. No plans for any body mods at this stage.

Interesting side by side shot. The MKVI appears to be slightly shorter and have a lower roof line. Is this fact or just an optical illusion?

It looks better after a few beers :) - yes - I agree, makes them look like different sized cars from that side on shot!

MKVI > MKV all the way (and I love the MKV)

Jeez after seeing a Mk6 GTI today at Gold Coast, I'm almost inclined to get one of these over the R and through a few options onto it..
