Ask Arctra for feedback.

If you install radio unit like these, just watch out your overnight battery discharge or when you don't drive vehicle for couple days. In some units can-bus controller doesn't go to sleep properly after you remove the key and lock the car which will drain the battery flat if you park for couple days.

I am lookin at getting one of the Alpine all in one head units... alot cheaper than I expected and it's Alpine... good gear!

Bought AVC-9000-1 from Rob @ Auspack

installed in Caddy on weekend generally went according to plan.

few issues.
1. lots of difficulty fitting additional cables behind head unit, . have to try agin next weekend . unit juts out by 2-3mm at base

2. had to mount reversing cam inside at top of wide barn door, will design at shield to prevent glass relfections and needed a 20mm spacer to mount camera

3 fm radio is a bit crackly,

4. haven't work out how to control backlight on radio, like having a spotlight on dash at night


any help apreciated
