my cluch is slipping a little bit, so i got a quote from bursons, $752.82!
Damn! Can anyone hook me up with a more cost effective one? (cheaper)
Also, is there any special tools invloved in doing a VR6 clutch? Does the motor have to come out or can it stay in?

give imparts a call and see what they charge. They have been surprisingly cheap on a few things.

Its at least a good 4 hour job. Thats the most expensive part of the whole thing.

I brought a Sachs kit in December 2004, not sure if they are cheaper or more expensive now.
It cost me $440 From Euro Car Parts

My Clutch started slipping today too :(

Golf Loon, what price can you do for a clutch kit, machined flywheel and a timing chain kit with the guides?
