Spotted a polo sedan on the Hale Street loop from Kelvin Grove Road at about 8:05am.
I saw the VW badge but it looked like one i hadn't seen before (figured it could have been a test mule) and the tailights looked really odd (like saab 9-3 tailights)

Drove past it and spotted the polo/lupo front end with the dual circle headlights on each side.

Needless to say i was amazed as i had never seen one before.
I didn't even know they were available.

Looked like this:

Yes,thats the Polo sedan.
Only a few were impotred here in 2005 from China.
This is badged as the Polo Classic in some countries, and is popular in South Africa,China, and South America.

Cool, thanks for the info.
I wiki'd it when i got home and found out about it.
Looks pretty cool apart from the dated front end.

There are a few of them rolling around Brissie. I wonder if they would've been popular had they been released...

Yeah there's another silver one that lives around the corner from me. They're definitely something different.
Cheers,

Its a pity that it was never marketed diffirently,as it could /should have been popular.

By the way your camera year is incorrect. Either that or you've traveled through time to tell us of this spotting. :P

It's 2008, it could've been taken last year...

That and judging by the cars in the backround, that's not Australia...
