Hi,

My wife and I are at odds about which number plate looks better on the Tiguan, thought you good folk might have an opinion?

I'm getting a black 147 and was thinking of going with this

or

or maybe this one

For a black Tig, I'd go option 3. Black Euro plates (esp the slimline fronts) will look fab.

I agree completely.
Black plates on a black car look ace.

All the marketing brochures have the white Euro plates, was thinking everyone would go for those - but I like the black Euros too.

I have white plates on my black Tig and like the look. I've seen quite a few black plates on black cars and can't say I'm a fan. I'd avoid option B if I were you.

My suggestion is to go for a colour combination the speed cameras have trouble with.
I am finding that the Tiguan is very difficult to keep under control (TSI125, auto) in city driving. I fear that it will cost me a small fortune in speed fines.

I've got slimline silver with black on my reflex silver Tig and have attached them with strong double sided tape on the front to avoid making holes - they look good

Would suggest slimline black with silver for black Tig would be ideal

I've ... attached them with strong double sided tape on the front to avoid making holes

Careful with that mate. Number plate theft is becoming more common and the way you've done it makes it easier to just whip them off and run.

:dunno: Appreciate the concern but I reckon they'd be quicker using a screwdriver on ones with screws! Of course time will tell and I may be proved wrong - hope not as I just couldn't bear the thought of making holes in the vehicle

i got the new slimline white euro on my biscay blue 147 and the blue is almost exact match.

Was told that the euro plates with the red bit in them are not available anymore and that all euro plates come with slim front now.

may have been normal dealer bs, but havnt had time to have a look yet.
