I have seen one on ebay about a year ago but was outbidded :(
havnt seen one since.
Does anyone know anything about these mk3 VR6's? I think it was a Tamiya one...
I know pretty much nothing about RC cars but would love to have one.

I recall seeing a Mk3 Golf polycarbonate body on the old VR6.org forum - one of the guys had it painted up in Ginster yellow to match his GTI VR6 - looked pretty convincing : )
So yes - someone made polycarbonate Mk3 bodies. Pretty sure it was for Tamiya also.
Could also have been sold as a European Mk3 16v GTI or American GTI VR6 replica - had the euroflares/deeper lip etc.

I have a few petrol (and electric) RC cars and can highly reccommend the Revo :)
For a small road car (which is useless on all but dead flat surfaces) I have this one:

Otherwise it's a buggy:

And the Revo:

I have used to hunt round for VW shells and have a Kombi for the road car and was looking at some Beetle shells for the Revo. There really isn't a lot otherwise.

It is really hard to get - quite a collectors item. You can get it but it's tooo costly.

I have the Mk3 GTI, I originally ordered the VR6, but the GTI turned up... still wouldn't mind a VR6 and am eyeing off the mini champ MkIII too :D
