Up for sale is my fathers' 1978 Volkswagen Golf Gld (Diesel) 1500 cc and 5 speed manual gearbox.
Enging and Gearbox: 1.5 litre diesel complete with new rings, bearings, timing belt, gaskets, mains seals and new oil pump mated to a 5 speed gear box with new clutch kit. Engine and gearbox in very good to excellent condition.
Body: Repainted white about two and a half years ago. Minor rust on front window sill. Will pass roadworthy without a problem. Good bumper bars and equipped with tow bar and wiring loom.
Interior: Original interior equipped with VDO gauges (oil pressure and water temp) Sony X-plode CD player with Sony X-plode speakers. Seats, seat belts, carpet excellent condition. No cracks in dash.
Suspension: Very good condition equipped with new front and rear springs and shocks.
Wheels and tyres: Very good condition 185/60/14 Rear 95% Front 75% Steel MK 4 wheels in excellent condition.
Electrics: Everything in working order and road worthy.
Brakes: Excellent condition. Near new front pads.
Registration: Will sell with registration until 23rd Jan 2010 if sold in Vic. Roadworthy to be obtained by buyer.
