Thought i had a brothel going on in my room ... again.

Room was lit up red! Since 4am this morning all ive been hearing is emergency vehicles non stop! Currently @ work and still going with fire brigades especially..

Crazy! I guess i have a red car now!

Or all the speed camera and traffic camera errors since all the cars will be red :P

Woke up from the smell of the dust... googled it up and got this:


The bureau said a tornado was recorded by a severe storm monitor in the mid-north of South Australia, with the strong winds experienced over that state now extending across western NSW and into the ACT, bringing with it thick dust.

That's a damn far way for the red dust to travel!

I remember that.

I was watching "Planet Earth" and there is dust that goes half way around the world in some places, mostly from The Middle East and Africa.

Maybe the dust is forming with the smog to make some sort of super dust? :)

Argh that's savage. Dad's GTI is in the garage, sdoor hasn't opened since the weekend but its still got an inch of dust on the top of it.

we get 5 to 10 of them every year
most of the time just a few drops of rain
to dirty the car or it just rains mud:)
at least it dry most of the time so you don't
get much rust:)

Maca, the dust triggered the somke alarm mate thats how they work by picking up dust particles in the air.
Ohh ok cheers for that.. We knew it wasn't smoke coz we couldn't smell it (smoke has a very distinctive smell).. Funny though, one mum took her child outside to get some fresh air from all the dust inside...

Same here.
My old ute outside is cleaner than the Jetta in the garage.
I have a rolla door facing the wind and the dust has hit the door fallen
to the bottom where the gap is, and been blown under causing a bigger
dust storm inside.
I have not been brave enough to look under the bonnet, unfortunately I
reversed the car into the shed.
