ACA just mentioned breaking news of an earthquake in the SE burbs of Melbourne, all ok over there??

Apparently in the outer southern suburbs.

I'm in the SE burbs and I hav'nt noticed anything rocking. :eek:

I doubt it will be anything significant.
There are no major fault lines or plate joins in Australia.

There is nothing on news.com either.
Could just be a publicity stunt by ACA.

didnt feel a thing.
the last one was very noticeable. It made the glass cabinet in my loungeroom shake!

I swear thats the 3rd one this year, could hear it rolling in from a distance before it hit. Nothing major just tremors like usual.

they said this morning that it was in frankston... two of them within a few minutes of each other. cant remember exactly the rating of each but both were under 4 in magnitude.
apparently frankston area has around 10 of them per year.. most go unnoticed.

The earth moves for Frankston people on average three times a week .....:banana:

Didn't notice these two small ones, but I did notice the two earlier this year - spooky. Have some cracks in the plaster and bricks to show for it, too :(

overseas gets 5 or 6 and it barely makes the news:brutal:
