The wife has thrown down the hammer!!:brutal: We have to buy a 4 door car! The funny thing is she is allowed to keep her 2 door Polo GTI, but I have to sell the Beeza !! Damn...
Take note.. I am a fussy owner.
Pros:
- Streight Body. for its age.
- Great paint job for its age. (slight touch ups required)
- Resonable mileage for its age.
- Stong, very strong 8v 2.0 engine.
- Brand new exhaust system. Comprising of Cupra 16v manifold, and brand new pipes from the the manifold all the way to the BroSpeed Tip. Done by Carline muffleres in Campbelltown only a month ago. (new exhaust not shown in the pic..old pic)
- Interior dash plastics changed
- Drivers side Airbag
- Power windows
- Power Steering
- CD/Mp3 Player
- 2 Channel Vibe Amplifier
- A pair of high end 6inch component speakers in the front doors
- All receipts for servicing and parts.
- Very smooth. Lots of guts throughout the rev line.
- Does not drink oil.
- It's also a NON-SMOKER
- Only had one major issue with the car. Cooling system failed due to worn pipes. Taken care of by Camden GTI. All suspect pipes replaced.
- 17inch wheels included at the right price. Or a set of 15inch Speedy wheels and tyres will be placed on the car.
- No other silly mods on this car.
Cons: (note I am fussy)
- Rear bumper needs to be resprayed.
- Slight scrathces on left side rear guard.
- Rear guard lips need to be rolled (17s scrub when you have a heavy person in the back seat)
- Rear interior plastics (left and right) need clips to hold them in.
- Original rear parcel shelf need to be put in. Matt and CGTI has one ($80.00) I have not had a chance to pick it up.
- Alarm siren is not working. Immobiliser is working.
- Drivers side central locking motor is not working.
- Drivers side seat bolster worn. Like every other Ibeeza on the planet!
- Aircon has been regassed (receipt provided). But... A relay or switch seems to be gone. I beleive this is a cheap fix.
Sorry for the essay. I like to be completely honest when I am selling something. This would be a great first car for someone, lots of guts without a turbo (P plate friendly). It also has the potential of being a fun weekend or track car.
It has been reliable and a heap of fun to drive. This little beast can be driven hard. I will be sad to see it go. Everyone knows 8valves are more fun !!
