Your Dad offered me those carbys before for $800.
Happy to pay that for them anytime, cash waiting.
Have you got access to them? or do we have to wait till he is back??

Thanks Jay. Its my wtb thread, if you have any offers, please pm them.
I want a working set with a manifold.
They used to be common on Mk1s. Probably loads have been crushed with them still on the car :(

i know that 45DCOE sidedraft webbers were a very popular addition to the 2L Ford Escorts.
you could try some old ford forums or shops for those (wont help you with the manifolds though!)

A friend has a pair of 40mm side draft dellortoes he would be open to offers on.
They are probably in need a clean etc as they haven’t been used for a while. He was going to run them on his 2002 BMW. So no VW manifold.
He also has 2 brand new 40mm side draft webbers that he would consider selling.
He’s open to all offers.
PM me for his details

:google::google::google:
Here's the list of kits (aircooled single/twin port etc, 8v/16v)
Redline Weber Kits (http://www.redlineweber.com/html/application_guide/VW.htm)
Get the part number and then get onto these guys... Great people to deal with.
VW Paradise (http://www.vwparadise.com/)
There you go Matt.. Stop being tight and buy a new kit. :)
Or buy this esevwbits dude's kit. (Brian Patterson's son??)

Its not tightness mate, they are not for me and the customer is on a student budget.
I offered to buy Peters before but I think he wants unrealistic money for em. They have been gathering dust for years and who knows what engine they were jetted for??
Plus I have had issues dealing with him before, he always quotes one price and when you go there he wants more!
I think I will go with vellys suggestion and get some from the land of rain and sheep.
I`m watching a good set on the bay atm. 100quid for a golf manifold and 2 webbers.
