Hi,

A mate of mine installed a RNS510/Columbus into his Superb which originally had the RCD510 equivalent.

Problem is... after installing.. there's no sound.

We've already used vagcom to :

change sound system to Skoda Sound System, turn on BAP etc... but no joy...

Anyone had similar experiences?

The only thing that we've not tried is removing and re-connecting the Car Battery terminals.

Cheers...

If he wants to get rid of the MFD3 if it turns out to be incompatible, PM me!

As per this

There is more info about the part numbers on Briskoda somewhere. You can also pick up the part #s from ebay sellers, who sometimes quote them
