is there anywhere i can buy a plug or something specifically designed for the hole left from removing the rear wiper arm?
ive tried heaps of different caps, grommets, seals but havent found anything that really does the job and the rain is getting in and washing all the grease from the rear lock down my bumper leaving a dirty big skid mark
any ideas
cheers dave

what you are looking for is a 1" blanking grommet. Ask at bunnings and they will be able to grab one for you.

I've contemplated doing it to mine but I use it and I'd wanna weld a plate in place of it :nana:

if u do it make sure u disconnect/ cut off the end of the hose for your spraying thing for your wiper...

it could be annoying if your stalk gets pushed forwards in the future, and you have a leaking boot lid. :wasntme: a certain mk3 driver on this forum forgot this...was quite awkward when we inquired about it.

I folded mine over and put zip-tie around the end of it. The pump isn't powerful enough to force the water out past this.

I think I'll just re-route it back into the water chamber this weekend to save damage to anything else.

Yeah that's one thing I've always wanted to test out. You know how some people are relentless tailgaters/general a-holes on the road? Well....*squirts* take that!

best to fill it with something that attracts insects... like water with lots and lots of sugar disolved in it.
