there is plenty of info on this comversion on vwvortex. A few people have done it now. The problem is. You have more clearance but if you do hit the R32 sump there is more chance of it cracking.

This is a mod i'll be doing before the vr is back as the R32 sumps are also baffled :cool:

where would you source one from? brand new i thinks would cost 600 maybe more

from the dealership the pan and pump was just under 600 from memory :)

pan - 022 103 601 R
pump - 022 115 105 E
