I dont think that would be properly done bonnet. Its probably hasnt gone through the strengthening process (dont know what its called).

The cheap carbon fiber bonnets are made the same way you would make a fiberglass one, only with carbon fiber. The frame underneath is probably made of fiberglass like many cheap bonnets I have seen and there is not a huge weight saving in those type of cheap units. They weigh almost as much as a standard bonnet.

When they master making non genuine metal panels right I might consider their CF stuff. Up until now fitment has been rubbish!

Its illegal to sneeze on a car these days as it changes the crumple zone characteristics.
