Thought seriously about that one. Has no log books though. Been passed in for 4 or 5 weeks at around $27,000 if thats a guide. Always gets 3 or 4 bids.

The log books aren't really a problem. You can check what has been done by VIN number through VAG.

Besides there wouldn't be much wrong with a 40,000 KM car and I wouldnt imagine that the oil would have been left that long.

Pretty friggin hard kms though Quozl!!!

Buying your car would be like buying a porsche from Jim Richards :D

It's probably better maintained than 99.999% of the R's out there though :)

Full service before and after every event, including all fluids flushed and replaced. All the bushes, wheel bearings high wear parts are given a life date on the car and replaced whether they need it or not, new rotors a couple of times a year, the list goes on. I would happily buy one of Jim Richards Porsches as long as it hadn't been in a serious off. :)

Anyway we're way off topic for this thread, sorry mods......

Cheers Al

My son's boss is interested.
I note that it was not in today's auction, not in the cattle dog either. Has it gone? Anyone know?
