Cables through Firewall

Hi All,
I want to run some cables through the firewall, what would be best spot be so that I don't disturb anything else and also don't get water/dirt into the car?

I`d go below the expansion tank and abs pump, there is a grommet there and will come out where the glovebox would be, or in front of the driver on the firewall there are a few rubber seals.
