Yea I was going to say, does the milk van have heated seats too? Because I'm pretty sure the postie bikes don't hahhaah.

Heard about this one, but the test is far from conclusive with 30 people. Though I'm not too sure how many people would want to have their scrotum temperature checked after getting out of the car lol.

Maybe the blokes surveyed were victims of testicular cancer who got a data logging implant instead of a placebo bean.

Riding pushies or motorbikes is bad for your little dudes too. As a newly wedded gent I think I need to invest in a treadly!!!

Studies like this make the mind boggle......for instance, I wonder who got the job of monitoring the temperatures? I can think of other activities that might raise the temperature of the scrotum also!

I usually turn the heating off after a while but at my age, who cares if my sperm count drops!

Cheers

I reckon anyone who isn't actively trying for children might be pleased to knock the count down a bit!

But wait, does it affect the production permanently or temporarily?

Eg. If you have the seats on, then try making a baby will it only be that 'time' that the count is reduced?

I think temporarily.

Hahaha....i wonder if the Vatican will be calling for a ban on heated seats in cars due to their contraception capabilities.

j:j:j: clever Jayse!!

the article suggests that heated vs non-heated seats had a temperature difference of only 1deg C.

are our family jewels that sensitive to temperature variance?

and also, seems like a hell of a lot of cash to cough up for 1 degree

Only if you're not married

It's a 1 degree change from our body temp. Not from the air temperature of the car, or the normal temp of the freezing leather.:driver:

LOL - I'm sure my balls get warmer than that on a 40 degree day....so going on their theory most Australian men would have reduced capabilities during summer.

Funny, the saying "A dog on heat" comes to mind :)
