as funny as that is....somehow 26 feels hotter than it does here. Was there last year and it hit about 27 and it felt more like 32-33.

still funny as hell though! :biggrin: it doesnt rain for a week there and there are droughts!

Funny you say that I was suprised how white a lot of Australians looked when I first came here, suprising considering the sun here seems more piercing.

On an semi related VW note, I discovered this morning that my car beeps at me with a snowflake symbol when the ambient temperature hits 4 degrees C or less. Also hit 1 degree according to my MFD. Thank goodness for heated seats and a good heater. Brrr... :)

also on a VW related note, my TDI doesnt warm up until I get to work (even then it barely reaches operating temp) and thats nearly a 30min drive in and out of decently heavy traffic! :o!

Yeah I noticed the RS has been struggling to make temp...but on the upside the turbo is cooler as is the intake air so when it finally does...its like free power...

yeah my car isn't loving the cold starting... hopefully it means lots of snow in the snowys though!!

lmao remindes me of when i lived in central new south wales , i think it reached a high of 27 for the summer lol
