is it possible to fit them still if the centre was bored out? or to much effort? (sorry bout the nooby questions)

yeah for sure, a machinist can bore it out, specs are 57.1 hole as per standard VW wheel fitment:) would take no more than 5min each wheel to machine out

37.1mm is a seriously tiny hub. What kinda car has that centrebore? Or could it be a typo (pressed wrote 37.1 instead of 67.1)?

if he confirms that the center bore is 37.1, probably

Edit: was a typo, bore is 67.1 so i guess they are no use to me :( can't really 'un-bore' them haha

noo! if they are bigger than 57.1 thats good, just get hub centric rings for like $20 and any respected wheel shop!!

20mm spacers, some 195/40/16s and they will look rad ;)

Lucky they are local aswell mate, save some coin on postage.

Take them down to Extensive Wheel Services on South Road and they can probably help you out with some hub centric rings for a good price. Ive been there a few times now and very reasonable and very good work.

just spoke to the old man, decided not to in the end, going to spend the $150 on a service and save up for some better rims, apparently speedy's aren't to great haha, that and they'd be sitting around for a fair while, while i saved up for tyres ^_^

good idea ;) like mikey said, you would've needed 20-25mm spacers for them to make them look half decent, ie. sit flush with the guards :) I'd say hang out too
