Hey guys,

Sorry to start yet another thread, but i need some Mk3 specific tech advice...

My clutch isn't far away from giving up the ghost, and i want to replace it with something substantial (although this may end up with my 02O gearbox casing looking like Sean's old one) j:

Two things -

1. What clutch kit would be best used on this motor/box combination (2E/02O) and are there more, performance, kits avaliable at reasonable prices...

2. Are they easy to fit for somone with a little bit of mechanical experience, a basic tool set and NO WORKSHOP MANUAL!!!???

Consider that in the future i may do something stupid like hmmm... turbo :D, but will be at least camming and chipping in the next 12 months... After all, I'll have to keep up with all the SEQ boyzzzz ;)

Thanks in advance guys, even if all i get is a decent aftermarket standard clutch kit, some rough prices and a yay or nay on the self install....

Cheers!!!
John

Expect to pay $300 for a Genuine German Clutch kit including pressure plate.

Easy to fit.

Sports ones are prolly a waste of money untill you get some serious power.

Fit a standard Luk or Sachs clutch, i've found that there good, you get 100,000+ kms on it easy.
