Audi's TT RS - With old school 5 cylinder warble - Volvo and Ford used to be the only place you could get this sound

if they build one, i will buy it. i don't care if i have to run it on baby seals.

i wonder how audi developed this engine. it sounds a lot like the gti engine, with a bit more warble/burble, though that could just be my ears. i wonder if audi/vw just bolted an extra cylinder to the 2.0 tfsi engine.

In the MK4 there was a 5 cyl. Was that a VR6 with a cylinder removed?

Are these engines related to the US 5 cyl in the US MK5 Golf/Rabbit?
