Wheres the best/most safest point to jack up a car. Will these be ok?

Mind you i wont be working under a jack, itll be supported by stands. The manual says never to jack up a subframe but to only use the pinch seams on the sides. Any thoughts as I only have one jack to do both sides at once?

Need to access the steering rack btw :)

I have rooted my sills by using jack stands on them!!!
only use the stock jack on the sills!

My sills are bent and totally out of shape!

Be very careful!
They are suprisingly weak!

i usually jack underneith the front subrame in the centre where the gearbox mount is located but if u are doing work on the rack i would recomend you jack up front subframe and put jacks stands underneith the sills that way u can drop the subrame if u need to for working on the rack

Yeah i didnt want to do that coz thats too much work in my mind. So what ive done is jack up one side of the car using a hydralic jack with a block of wood on the pinch seams, then just put two stands on that sill. Holds up fine with the jack still in place for reassurance.

Seems hard that if you want to have the whole car on stands, you'd need to do some magic since they only recommend to jack the car up in the same spot as were the stands go.

I`d jack the car in the middle of the subframe, put stands under the jacking points on the sills. Then if you undoo the subframe, you can lower it down with the jack ;)

Yeah but I only follow the lazy man way :) Man that steering gaitor is bloody hard to get off and even harder to put back on in a tight spot. Oh well, at least its all fixed and i can say i did it w000t!
