The Mk 1 has died and will now be dedicated to the greater golf good. Hard to find blue seats, front and back up for grabs. Front passenger and rear in good nick, but could use a good clean. Front drivers has tears.

Would prefer to sell as a job lot $65
or
Front passenger $30
Drivers $15
Back seat $30

Pick up Heathmont (Ringwood) Vic (not before Friday)

The interior has been stripped.. some parts are going to my mechanic in return for labour on my Kombi, others will pop up on ebay as I have no idea what they're worth. The rolling shell with motor and gearbox will probably go for scrap. The motor was running well until a cooling system problem caused the block to crack.

Shell is rust free.. there's damage to the front spoiler. Scrap yard has offered me $150 to take it away.. it's a cream/off white 4 door

Will the back seat from this 4dr fit in the back of a 2door?

I've got blue front seats but not back ones! :duh:

Yeah, I think so. Someone might be able to clarify, but for $30 probably worth the punt, eh?

man don't scrap her if the shell is rust free, if you pay the frieght i'll send you a mk1 1.6 which was running a year ago. Only thing missing is the carb but the rest is pretty good to keep you going. Freight woulb be about 2-300 i reckon

Thanks for the offers and advice people, I'm VW to the core having owned 5 of them. My only regret is that I didn't buy a MK1 in my twenties. However, it's been stripped and is ready to go. The reason I put the seats up on the forum is I wanted to gauge interest before I tear them out. Otherwise they whole thing will go for scrap on Friday. Not all bad, choice parts will go to my mechanic in exchange for work on the Kombi. Act fast, the clock is ticking!
