Hey ya guys
Have not posted for a while so thought I would share some photos.
Finally got around to installing the new stereo (time and money slowed me down)
Head unit is an Alpine CDA 9886 (awesome little unit)

Speakers are Sound Stream SST's 6.5 front and back and they run off a Kenwood amp.

Sub is a Sound Stream PCW-12 and it runs of a Kenwood mono amp.

So that took me pretty much all weekend to do. Was not the funest job on earth (Vw wiring was unfamiliar to me :frown:)
I had a few hours left in the day yesterday so I decided to "smoke" the lights. Looks pretty sweet for $30. What ever silicone they used to seal the lights was some strong stuff, took a few goes to get it off and clean it up. (Looked like sikaflex?)

So nothing crazy at the moment but it’s a start. Coilovers and exhaust are next up (Tax time ).
Cheers guys
Ben :)
