Possible synchro wear?

Hey just need a peace of mind from you guys lol

Tonight i got lazy and didn't go into gear properly - let off my clutch and it started making a grinding noise.. i know it wouldnt be a problem since the car is brand new...

... but slightly concerned if i caused*any* sort of damage - or as long it happens once in a blue moon there wouldn't be a problem?

The gears did not properly engage, hence the grinding noise. Shouldn't have caused any damage .... unless ... you nevertheless decided to redline the motor :o

i wouldn't even if i knew how to! lol ... sumtin to do with shifting at the correct rpm shift points without clutch?
