so my real question is obviously over heated and cooked but did i blow a head gasket???
aswell my oil light went on and BEEEPEED!!!! WTF!
does that mean that the oil pump is not workin because i can hear the lifteres go at it really loud! ><

OK. Wait for the engine to be cold. Then check the water level, fill as required. See if car will start. Run for a little while then turn off and check for creamy goo under the oil cap and on the dipstick. If it is there, you blew the headgasket, if not, you were lucky. Those engines are strong and are usually ok if you turn it off when the buzzer sounds and did not add cold water to a hot engine. Fix the cooling system and It`ll probably be right.

If it is the head gasket and you have comp insurance you might be able to make a claim for all the repairs.
I've recently come across two examples of this scenario where someone has reversed into the car (both Vectra's). Both have had warped heads - one sounds just like yours except they ran it up a hill on a hot day (with a/c on)and the other similar when the tow bar blocked the water paths in the radiator. Strange because a front ender on a Vectra usually causes the second cooling fan to fail! Very expensive repairs for the insurance company!
To convince the insurance company you may need to get a sympathetic professional engineer to argue your case!

You pay for this kind of thing happening so make sure you claim.
